Where I start from the Greco-Persian war and take a stroll through the wars fought by Alexander the great, Julius Caesar, Napoleon Bonaparte and Genghis Khan. The discussion continues through Russo-Japanese war, Seven Years war and then conclude the discussion in the first world war.
I also talk about the human aspects of these historic events and try to assess them through the lens of Philosophy. Discussing works from Thomas Hobbs, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Friedrich Nietzsche and Jean-Paul Sartre. Basic Philosophic ideas like existentialism, nihilism, moral dualism also get discussed.
